Both our boys have loved the bike skills course. They have both learnt skills and increased in confidence. The youngest has been counting down the days until the next session. 
We were happy the sessions were well organised, safe and communication was great.

Highly recommended. This class was one of the best things we’ve ever done for Astrid. After only half of the lessons the difference in Astrid’s skills and confidence was amazing. By the end of the course she was riding her bike completely independently - something we’ve not been even close to achieving ourselves.
On top of this, Astrid had a lot of fun and was always  super excited for ‘bike day’. Drew and his team have a lovely way with children and a lot of patience.
We would sign up for any future courses, to build up Astrid’s skills further and because we know she’d enjoy it so much too.

Fantastic 5 week programme. Our son wouldn’t even consider going on his bike and would not entertain us trying to help him! 

The first three weeks were spent with no pedals on bikes refining balance and on the fourth session (and first with pedals) he simply jumped on his bike and started riding before completing the final session regarding bike safety. 

Our son has not been off his bike since!! The sessions were fun and Drew was excellent as a teacher. It’s more than worth the money for any child looking to learn to ride, even if they have struggled previously.

My daughter (5) and son (8) are really enjoying their lessons with Tarmac and Trail. By the end of the first lesson there was a noticeable improvement in confidence and ability. Drew and Andrew are fun and supportive coaches who the children enjoy learning with. The coaching and exercises are tailored to the ability of the student. 

We would definitely recommend bike skills with Tarmac and Trail. 

- We offer a 100% refund on cancelled courses, providing that they are not within 7 days of the course start date.  As you can appreciate, sometimes it may be difficult to fill the vacated space at short notice.

- Although we cannot offer a refund on any individual classes missed by your child due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. illness), we will endeavour to make sure that your child catches up with the rest of the group, where possible.

- If a class is cancelled by the coach for any reason (eg. adverse weather, coach illness), then the course will be extended from its originally scheduled end date.  The missed class(es) will usually be run at the same time, and on the same day of the week, during the week(s) following the aforementioned scheduled end date.

We teach people of all ages to ride bikes and develop their cycling skills, so that riders feel safe, confident and get maximum enjoyment from riding.

All of our classes have been developed around games and enjoyable activities, so that we have fun whilst developing riding skills.
